Disable Wi-Fi - Comcast

Arris XB3 (TG1682G)

1. Login to XB3 admin GUI on Web by entering 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar
2. Enter the admin username and password. Username: admin, Password: password
3. Under Connections, click on Wi-Fi
4. You should then see the Private WiFi Network per Radio. Click on edit next to radio 2.4Ghz
5. Next to Wireless Networks, click on Disable. Click on Save Settings.
6. Turn off the option to Broadcast network name SSID
7. Click on Save settings
8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio

Cisco XB3 (DPC3941T)

1. Login to XB3 admin GUI on Web by entering 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar
2. Enter the admin username and password. Username: admin, Password: password
3. Under Connections, click on Wi-Fi
4. You should then see the Private Wi-Fi Network per Radio. Click on edit next to radio 2.4Ghz
5. Next to Wireless Networks, click on Disable. Click on Save Settings.
6. Turn off the option to Broadcast network name SSID
7. Click on Save settings
8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio

1. Login to XB6 admin GUI on Web by entering 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar
2. Enter the admin username and password. Username: admin, Password: password
3. Under Connections, click on Wi-Fi
4. You should then see the Private WiFi Network per Radio. Click on edit next to radio 2.4Ghz
5. Next to Wireless Networks, click on Disable. Click on Save Settings.
6. Turn off the option to Broadcast network name SSID
7. Click on Save settings
8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio

1. Login to XB6 admin GUI on Web by entering 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar
2. Enter the admin username and password. Username: admin, Password: password
3. Under Connections, click on Wi-Fi
4. You should then see the Private WiFi Network per Radio. Click on edit next to radio 2.4Ghz
5. Next to Wireless Networks, click on Disable. Click on Save Settings.
6. Turn off the option to Broadcast network name SSID
7. Click on Save settings
8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio
9. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio

XB7 (CGM4331COM and TG4482A)

1. Login to XB7 admin GUI on Web by entering 10.0.0.1 in the browser address bar.
2. Enter the admin username and password. Username: admin, Password: password.
3. On the left, under Connections, click on Wi-Fi.
4. You should then see the Private WiFi Network per Radio. Click on edit next to radio 2.4Ghz.
5. Turn off the option to Broadcast network name SSID.
6. Next to Wireless Networks, click on Disable.
7. Click on Save settings.
8. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to disable the 5Ghz radio.
